South African Art Workshops 

Five day painting and drawing holiday workshops offered by well qualified and experienced artist and art teacher Gail Strever.

Take the opportunity to experience working in small personal groups in this unique South African setting. On offer is a wide variety of exciting visual possibilities to capture from nature.

This workshop provides for daily field trips which give you the chance to work from life while soaking in the timeless ambience of the 'Mountain Pastures' and 'San Valley' Estate.

In the personal tuition you will receive the formal elements of art will be discussed through the practical exploration of your own work. Individual style and interests will be recognised and encouraged. The perceptual, conceptual and technical aspects of visual representation will be discussed as an aid to your own development. 

	Size of groups Minimum 6 people - Maximum 8 people. The workshop runs from Monday to Friday. Daily field trips (depending on the weather) from: 8:30 - 12:30 Lunch break 3:00 - 6:00 (In the event of rain, work will be carried out indoors)
		Inclusive in the workshop is an evening art talk presented by the prominent gallery owner Trent Read of the Knysna Fine Gallery. Workshop Tuition fees £20 (Pounds Sterling) per day per person. Easels, A2 boards and stools supplied. No art equipment will be supplied.
